Piggly Christmas Edition is a game about a pig. What makes this one a Christmas Edition is that the pig wearing a Santa’s hat. The protagonist of this game is a female pig that is a specialist at cooking apples dessert. The game is divided into four seasons; each of one has two sets of four levels (three regular levels plus a bonus level).
You have to gather apples, collect sweets, and discover secrets to gain points.As natural as it may sound, Piggly Christmas Edition is a game about a pig. What makes this one a Christmas Edition is that the pig wearing a Santa’s hat. So, what is going on with this pig? The protagonist of this game is a female pig that is a specialist at cooking apples dessert. The mission in this game is to bake homemade apple pies for her little piglets, but before she can bake these delicious apple pies she has to gather some delicious apples. There is when you come in to help her, going out to the forest to collect the apples from the trees.
You will have to go through some obstacles during your visit to the forest which will keep you very busy and entertained. On your way, you will see trees from which the apples are hanging. You will have to jump to make them fall from the tree and then roll them to your house. There will be some environmental dangers and hungry and competitive inhabitants of the forest that can make your apples unusable. If that happens, you will have to go back to the trees for more apples in replacement of the ruined ones.
The game is divided into four seasons; each of one has two sets of four levels (three regular levels plus a bonus level). On each regular level, you'll need to locate a specified number of apples and bring them back to your house. For bonus levels, simply collect as many sweets as possible before time runs out. Your score is displayed at the top-left of the screen. Gather apples, collect sweets, and discover secrets to gain points. Next to your score is a series of apple icons. This is the number of apples required to finish the level. As you gather apples into your house, the apple icons will progressively light up. Once you have gathered all required apples, wait inside the house to complete the level.
The control keys can be re-defined from the options menu. The default controls are as follows:
• Left arrow key: Move left.
• Right arrow key: Move right.
• Up arrow key: Jump.
• Down arrow key: Pick up or drop items.
• SPACE: Use objects: toggle switches, activate buttons, read signs, etc. You can also hold down the SPACE key while you are rolling apples to perform a "gentle roll".
• ENTER: Show level statistics.
• M: Show level mini-map.
• ESC or PAUSE key: Brings up the in-game pause menu.
